Terms & Conditions

Definitions: The company, we, our, us means St Johns Wood Cars Ltd.

Agreement: When you book a job with us you agree with our terms and conditions for using our service and our tariff.

Quotes: All quotes, where given are approximate according to mileage, time, out of pocket expenditure eg. Car parking, type of car and service required.

Charges: Most of our journeys are quoted via the shortest route. Any change of circumstances such as: extra drop or pick up and change of route requested by the customer will incur a different charge. Waiting Time: Where the driver has to wait beyond the required time booked. The customer is then liable for the waiting time whether this is accidental or out of the customers control.

Bookings: Bookings must always be made through the office and not with the driver. It is illegal for a driver to pick up a fare unless it has been booked through the office. For a booking to be completed, full postal address including post code, mobile phone number, full name, destination address and pick up time is required.

Airportcollection: Our driver will meet passengers at the arrival hall of the airport with a name board. We monitor all flight arrivals; therefore no charge will be applied for any flight delays or cancellations before driver has been dispatched. We include 60 minutes waiting time once the flight has landed, and thereafter the charge will be £8.00 for every half an hour. We advise customers to request the driver to arrive at least 20 minutes after the flight has landed. If the customer has not met the driver in the arrivals hall they should contact the office before leaving the arrivals hall otherwise the customer will be charged the full fare plus any expenditures.

Child Seats: Infant and child booster seats are available on pre-booked journeys at a cost of £5 per unit.

Delays: St Johns Wood Cars Ltd. will not be responsible for missed flights or delays due to any unforeseen circumstances eg. Car breakdowns or traffic.

Cancellation: For online bookings, cancellation should be made at least 4 hours prior to the time of booking. We do not charge for cancellation if the driver has not already been dispatched. If cancellation is made after a driver is dispatched the customer will be liable for cancellation fee and cost of driver mileage and any other expenditure occurred for the journey.

Damages: The company is not responsible for any damage caused during loading or unloading of passenger belongings. In the case of any damage sustained to the company’s property or vehicle by the customer however, customers will be liable for all costs. These include damage repair, vehicle cleaning, and company’s loss of earning.

Lost property: The company will not be liable for any property left in a vehicle by the customer. Any item that is found will be held in the company’s office and every effort will be made to return the item to the customer. A charge will be applicable unless customer collects the property from the office.

Right of refusal: The company or driver reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger or object that they deem to be likely to cause damage to themselves or vehicle.

Data Protection: All our clients are assured that their details are kept confidential and only authorised persons are allowed to get access to their details for booking or invoicing purposes.
